It’s national walk to school week – the perfect time to teach your kids about being active by walking them to school . I used to live a bit too far out to walk but still let them participate – we would drive for a bit then park up and walk the last bit so they were still active and still included xx

Its also ‘British Sandwich Week’ 19th-25th May… Bread can be a tough one with a band. Sometimes it is just about finding the right bread product for you. Have a read below, might give you some ideas. Most people are actually glad they cannot bread in the same way as pre band..!! xx

Happy bank holiday.
Sumner is fast approaching now so time to step things up a gear – healthy eating, increasing activity , going easy on the snacking , being careful with alcohol , making sure at the weekends you still stay on track …
Aim to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week is actually on target. Doesn’t sound like much but by mid – August ( holiday time 😃) that is between 10 and 20 pounds lost. Imagine being 20 pounds lighter over the school holidays – amazing 😃
But you have to get cracking now to reap that reward 😉

Planning your food diary in advance can really keep you on track. Why not take this week (especially if your off with the kids and have a mo) to download a BandBoozled Food Diary and get planning. Don’t rely on grabbing on the go especially as your band gets tighter and the unhealthy easy options can start to slip into your daily diet.
So make your food delicious and stay in control, don’t forget to plan for the weekend too (without sounding a misery guts) allow your treats but be realistic with the choices.
Happy Batching, and don’t forget to share any tips of your own with everyone xx

That’s good Nat, good to keep your diet varied. These types of foods can be caution foods so just be mindful of your 20202020 rule at all times xx
