Hello, I’m a week post surgery and I’ve had a really sore throat since, i expect this is just from the General Anesthetic but would of expected it to start to hurt less by now.
Sorry to hear you are still struggling. There can definitely be some throat irritation post surgery because of the tubing and GA. But if so no better at the 1 week mark I would get checked out by your GP Just to rule out any infection.
Make sure you are eating enough protein in your diet – min 60g daily and getting in enough nutrition to aid healing
