I don’t expect you to score yrself and share it, but it would be interesting to see your opinions. Regardless of my weight fluctuations over the years, I know that my self esteem has never been great. If yr self esteem isnt great, do you know why? Is it purely down to your weight? You possibly assume it is, but take some time to examine this a bit deeper. Have you ever really felt you deserved that compliment for doing well at work, did you look behind you to see who they were talking to when you heard ‘oh she is pretty’? Weirdly, the older i ve gotten, the better my self esteem is. Conquering my obesity has helped even tho i have settled for more realistic weight now than my band-abuse days of skinny. Its so easy to compare yrself to others but no one has had yr life experiences and journey, weight and all the rest of what life throws at us. Its so important to list and focus on what you have achieved – Jeeez – you ve survived thus far which is an achievement in itself!!! Try to love and congratulate yrself on daily stuff – you MUST develop a bed rock of good self esteem … get some self help books, buy inspirational little plaques for yr home … whatever works for you, start this now xxx I am fond of saying we self sabotage … we do, because we fall back into behaviours (often food related) which are disrespectful to us. i doubt you d be as hard on your friends, nor judge them as harshly as you do yourself. Be number one for a change, get some self love going on, be your own poster girl for success!! Read this n tell me just one thing you should be giving yrself a pat on the back for …. anything at all xxx C’mon, lets motivate ourselves and others xxx I ll just take a moment to think of mine… be right back ;0 xxx

Apart from my weight I’ve been pretty lucky because I have good teeth, good skin, good hair, good nails good heart and a good immune system. I have a good liver, I guess that’s bad for alcohol consumption. The only thing holding me back is my weight.

with the bypass I have heard that people can’t drink enough 💦 don’t always take their vitamins, so their skin go bad or their hair fall out. Yes we’ll stay fatter for longer but the other boxes stay ticked.
