      Hi

I am now 10 days post op, and still struggling to sleep at night laying down.

      Is this normal?

I have been propping myself right up with a mound of pillows, but during the night if I lie down then I wake with terrible pains in my chest, it feels like the port is pulling or something.

Very frustrating, I just wanted to know if anyone else has suffered from this?

Unfort 10 days is still early and the nerves are jus starting to kick back in..

so some pain is still normal

are you getting any other other symptoms xx

      Hi,

I had the same sensation, and it’s just everything healing. It will get better in time….

      No other symptoms.

It’s still very numb around the 2 larger wounds, but that’s it.

Liquids are all going down well, and only suffering a little from trapped wind now.

Hopefully it will get easier to sleep in the next week or so
