      Hi everyone.

I’m prepared to be shouted at, I’m bracing myself, but when you’ve all given me my well deserved telling off  can I have some advice pretty please?

After 9days on liquids I just can’t take it anymore, I’d actually rather not eat at all than face any more soup or shakes etc.
So I have had some soft food today, really sloppy weetabix this morning and then a little stew and mashed potato tonight heavy on the gravy.

I feel fine, full and I used the 20+ rule.
I just want to ask, what are the warning signs to look out for of something being wrong?
Like if my band slipped or any of the other horrible things that could happen?

      Thanks everyone. X

      Hi Charlotte.
no telling off but you know on here we have to advise that you follow your providers guidelines 😘

It takes a lot for the band to slip but you would know if there was a problem. Food would get stuck, come back up, pain or discomfort around the band site, acid reflux….  It’s more of a precaution as there’s likely to be swelling around the band at the min so if food did get stuck  you may end up vomiting – that’s not  recommended  especially early in as that  could cause problems as the band has just been put into place xx

      Glad you are ok xx

      Thankyou for being so supportive.
I know and totally understand you have to advise the guidelines, and I know deep down I should follow them it’s just so hard.

Ok Thankyou for the advice, I’m not going to push my luck, there’s no crisps or crusty bread happening. Just what I call baby food haha.

And I’m still having pretty small portions to be honest. My 2 year old eats more than me currently!

thanks for being there to listen guys.
