      Morning,

Sorry more questions! So tomorrow is day 14 woop I survived Haha! Apart from those first 5 days which were bloody awful I know feel great. I’m just wondering what happens next do I just move myself onto soft foods from tomorrow I havent spoke to anyone post op nurse or dietitian. I know it sounds silly do I need to speak to someone before I move to the next stage or do I just start?

      Xx

      Good Morning

Yayyyy well done you for sticking to plan and reaping the feel good benefits…. this would of really helped with the internal healing process for sure.  So most providers advise that you progress onto a soft diet after 2 weeks on fluids if you are tolerating these well…. Im guessing that is the case with you and can you just remind us who your provider is please..??

Just a little tip, when you do start to add in soft food, all foods should be Mashable with a fork, add extra sauce/gravy if required and you must work to the 20+ rule…  if you put 20+ in the search engine you can read more about this, this is very important going forward

Here are some ideas of soft meals for you to get your teeth into….. 😋. bet you’ve forgot what it’s like to chew..!!! haha, you won’t be saying that soon haha

Well done, onwards and upwards now, do keep us posted xx

My provider is THG spoke to someone just after I wrote this message. She was lovely booked in for my first fill too in a few weeks! So exciting. Just having a look through the soft options on this page cant wait!

I just want to say what a massive help this page is. Those first few days when I was very dramatic it was so nice and reassuring having people to talk to. Being able to read other peoples experiences really helped ease my worries alot.

      Thanks everyone xx
