      Ok , so need some advice I am Day 10 post op and I do not know what has gone on today but I can feel like i can drink liquids freely, without and stopping me and my soups are not filling me like yesterday?

       

      Before I have always had to sip as its just felt that way, but today (even though I am sipping) I don’t feel anything stopping me having as much as I would like. Sorry it’s probably rambling and not making sense – but has anyone else had this? Am I ok ?

      Any reassurance would be great LOL

      Hi Jo

      haha please let me tell you how reassuring normal what your going through is… basically this is just showing the initial swelling around the band is now starting to settle.  Which this healing can bring a surge of hunger and shows that you are soon nearing and ok to proceed onto the soft diet after the 2 weeks…

      hope this helps and reassures your.   Keep your fluid nice and nutritious and plenty of protein to help with hunger

      PHEW ! Lol – thank you so much – I am definitely making sure its protein first, I am just relieved.

      The majority of the wounds are still doing great, its just the one right hand side one, i’m due to get it reviewed on Wednesday so hopefully they will clean it out again and close it.  I am praying they will , i just want to get it on the road to healing and closed.

      Your doing great, these are just little normal blips that should be sorted relatively quickly.. it’s an unknown brand new journey, anything your not sure off just let us know and hopefully we can point you in the right direction xx
