I had a stressful experience yesterday with my hair which I won’t bore you with but when I got home to eat my evening meal, I was sick! I was doing everything right, following the 20+ rule perfectly but couldn’t keep anything down.
I waited until I’d calmed down and was able to eat the meal without any problems about 1hr later. Is this normal? X

Hi Sarah. Yes completely normal – we think it is to do with the stress hormones that are produced. Just go onto a softer diet or even liquids temporarily if anything like that happens again xx

What was up with your hair? Did the salon make a mistake or did you have difficulty with tats. I use really good conditioner with tangle teaser. It’s really great

Hi Andrea…. yes stress can have a massive impact on your band…. if this is a trigger that you are sensitive to you just need to know how to manage this so you don’t cause any further tightening. It’s really important to either take your diet back to soft or fluids till things settle. If fluids become problematic then a defill maybe needed…. hope things settle for you soon xx

Hi Frankie. Yes the dreaded time of the month can have the same effect. The heat and the cabin pressure on a flight may also affect the band. Xx

Hi
Just read this again, I’m a highly sensitive person and feel everything, good and bad and yes when I’m stressed I comfort eat but my band only allows certain foods, usually the sliders, not good. I try to avoid eating now when I’m stressed.
Re the comment about my hair, I’d spent 100s if pounds on Russian hair extensions and wanted them trimming and styling to blend with my natural hair. The lady I went to cut them short! Long story! I cried, came home, ate, regurgitated, cried some more, calmed down, was able to eat x
