Hi Margaret, I have never had so much wind since having surgery. I always remember my dietician telling me about having a warm drink in the morning to help loosen the band. So what I found worked for me is having a peppermint tea an hour before eating. Not always possible but I found this really helped for me. Good luck hun X

OMG this made me laugh out loud! Hi Kelice I would be on the floor with sambuca, ur a hero in my eyes already LOL
I was told that pop & fizzies would be out the question but in all honesty I am ok with it. I obvs cannot gulp it by the gallons like I used to but if I take my time its ok. I really find I cannot drink as much anymore, not sure if thats because I cannot eat massive or that I’m just getting old LOL
I have a few friends with bands too and they seem fine so hope you will be ok X

But Im going to get back on the site and stop this carrying on! Official told myself off LOL HELPPPPPP

LOL love this! but to be fair, it has not even been 1 hole week since having water out my band and I am struggling already, battling with smaller portions. Do you have any idea when fills will be back up and running? Trying my jeans on scares the living daylights out of me 😫 imagine in 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Want this to be over quick look after you and your loved ones xxxxxx

Even sadder times I ended up going back for more fluid out yesterday.😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 O I want to cry as I know my provider have no plans to start filling any times soon and I can already feel the growling hunger kicking back in, is that really possible in 1 day? 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 has everyone else had fills stopped? maybe I could go somewhere else if anyone knows if anyone is still doing fills. Pleaseeee let me know
I know this really isn’t an emergency on the grand scale of things that are going on around us today
Sorry to moan xxxxxxx

Ps this portion was a little small, I have another small bowl full and kept me full for about 3 hours. So not bad really. I bought the next size bowl too so will use that. This bowl would be a good size for granola and yog for Bfast xxxxxx

Hey Charlotte, I can remember being so down after my surgery too. I have massive anxiety mainly due to my own insecurities and this really hit me after my op. I wouldn’t mind it is something I have longed for for ages but the reality of it was this is so much money, will it work for me will I fail, will I be able to make the changes, never mind all the horror stories. I went on a google mission and made myself 100 times worse. This is why finding this group has been priceless to me on my journey. I had so many grey areas and my provider was abroad so felt out there on my own just with the crazy antics of google to fuel my uncertain mind. I am now 3 stone weight loss later and the last 12 months have been a challenge I can’t lie, but I feel the fog is lifting slightly and I am in a much happier place, I still have anxiety, I think even at drain pipe skinny I would still have anxiety, Im a born worrier LOL
The time does go so quick and things before you know will seem so much clearer. Sending you lots of love and don’t forget Bandits rule😉😉😉 You can do this xxxxxxxx
