Q – I’ve just had my surgery, when can I put my scar balm on?
A – We would advise you start using a scar balm once you are scab free (when you run your finger along the scar and it is smooth) A silicon based balm works great and it is advised you use them for at least 3 months. It’s best to treat a scar as early as possible to get the most out of your balms - so act quickly once the site is ready
