After adjusting bands now for many years, It’s clear that the anxiety around eating out doesn’t seem to diminish and does affect everyone to some degree somewhere along their band journey.
A patient was telling me that during her meals out, she always makes sure she has a napkin handy and actively uses this throughout the meal. Once she is done eating, she places the napkin over the leftovers. Genius…!!!!
This is great for many reasons… and hopefully should stop your waiter or anyone on the table commenting on your half eaten portion, it can stop you taking that extra little bite (that you know you shouldn’t, but sometimes just impossible to resist😒) or even worse stop the concerned chef running out with another meal with your name on 😳
