yes you do need to increase your calories so you are having a minimum of 1200 daily.
That said after surgery we don’t advocate having to count calories ( so we only use that to ensure you are having enough rather than to restrict) – go by your portion sizes, healthy meals, being careful with snacking and regular exercise.
The band can take 4-6 fills over the first 6 months to kick in and help and your weight loss is likely to be sub – optimal until then.
Keep going – from your other post it sounds like you are on track so you will get there. There will be weeks you might not lose but others you lose more than expected so it will all average out.
