Well, we had the idea of a gastric band slimming club for a while but struggled to find a name. We didn’t want a stuffy, clinical and boring name but it was difficult to fit in words like gastric band and bariatric surgery into a catchy title. We thought of many other names like “The Surgery” and “Operation Weight Loss” but none of them were quite right and most of the ones we vaguely liked were already taken by other businesses
Then on Christmas morning 2017 Sue’s daughter was opening her presents in her Christmas stocking and in there was the jelly bean game – “Bean Boozled” From there the name just clicked – Bandboozled....!!! I checked the domain name and it was free. A while later I nervously text it to Nic who thankfully loved it!! And so our business was born – it’s a quirky name we know, but we think it’s friendly and down to earth – a bit like us.
Let’s hope one day it’s a name everyone comes to recognise and thank you for helping us in our business venture. We really will do our best to help you get the most from your band
