Whether it's a bank holiday or a heat wave coming our way!!  Out of habit, we all have BBQ’s, drink a cold drink and probably get sunburn. Why? Because that’s what we do as Brits when the sun shows up!


This got me thinking about that word .... habit.


The things we do because that’s the way we’ve always done them. Sometimes there is no particular reason or benefit, it’s just how we act in a given situation.


The good thing about habits it that it is possible with a little persistence to change them and this is how you can hit success with your body transformation.


I’ve always maintained that a lack of patience has ended more people’s fat loss journey than anything else. You don’t see progress for 1 week and give up, fall back to old habits and regain weight.


The frustrating thing is you were building the correct habits, you just needed to keep going and the results would have come.

It’s like that coin sliding game in an arcade, the one where you drop a coin in, it lands and the shelf slides and if you get it right a load of coins drop out. Now, most of the time nothing happens and after a while you give up. What if it only took one more coin? You see here the habit was correct, you just need more patience to get the result.

It’s the same with your fat loss. Reducing portion sizes, adding protein with each meal, moving more, eating more vegetables etc. These are all the right habits to help you achieve a calorie deficit. Keep doing these and you will get the fat loss result you want.

So many people see one week of no visible progress and quit, when all they needed to do was hang in there and they would have got to the point they always wanted.

So take home guys is - trust in your good habits and a calorie deficit and you will be successful.
